Brouse McDowell Welcomes Two New Associates

Brouse McDowell, a leading regional business law firm, is pleased to announce that J. Alex Quay joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Akron office and M. Colleen Geib joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Cleveland office.

Quay is an associate in Brouse McDowell’s Akron office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice group with experience in counseling clients in matters involving business and commercial litigation, real estate transactions, title insurance, construction, zoning, and disputes concerning ownership of oil, gas, and mineral rights. Alex has represented major energy producers and midstream companies in complex litigation cases. During law school, he was a member of Akron Law’s Business Clinic and Trial Team, and worked as a Law Clerk in the City of Akron’s Law Department. Alex is a member of the Akron and Ohio State Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation and the Ohio Oil & Gas Association. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University where he graduated cum laude, and earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law.

Geib is an associate in Brouse McDowell’s Cleveland office developing her practice in the Corporate & Securities and Health Care practice groups. Colleen previously served as a Civil Litigation Clinic legal intern at The Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic Center at Case Western University School of Law. She also completed an externship for The Honorable Pat E. Morgenstern-Clarren, Chief Judge at The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Colleen is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan and Federal Bar Associations. She is also an Associate Board Member of Boys Hope Girls Hope Northeast Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from John Carroll University, and earned her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve School of Law.
