Brouse McDowell Welcomes Craig S. Horbus to the Firm

Brouse McDowell, a leading regional business law firm, is pleased to announce that Craig S. Horbus joined the firm as a Partner in the Corporate & Securities and Real Estate & Construction Practice Groups in the firm’s Akron office.
Craig has substantial experience representing companies of varying sizes, scope, and industry serving as outside general counsel and a trusted business advisor. His practice is centered on complex transactional work primarily in the areas of general corporate law, internet/technology law, ecommerce, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements and real estate.
He is a skilled negotiator whose candid and straightforward counsel has proved invaluable to his clients in a multitude of complex transaction situations. Craig also works with internet and technology-based businesses to advise them on the ever-changing and emerging legal issues in today’s technology world.
Craig has previously been named a Rising Star through a peer-and-achievement-based review conducted by the research team at Super Lawyers, a service of Thomson Reuters legal division. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where he was Executive Editor of the school’s Law Review – Journal of Law & Health. He also attended Temple University Beasley School of Law’s International Business Law Study Abroad Program in Athens, Greece. Craig graduated cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
