Estate plans should be updated regularly

Richard Harris, Partner and Chair of the Estate, Succession Planning and Probate Administration Group, recently commented to Cleveland Jewish News on when to update estate plans. He said that while plans do not need to be updated yearly, certain changes in your life should trigger a review of your estate plan. One of those changes is having children, he explained. Harris also noted that it’s best to have professionals update important documents like a will, trust or power of attorney.
